The turning point came during the premiere of ‘Guru’ in New York when Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya. Of course, she said yes! The couple tied the knot on 20 April 2007 and the couple welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya, in 2011.

With Aishwarya sitting beside him, Abhishek lovingly said: “I’m being protective over here of my wife, my beautiful wife. When she came to the industry, she was Miss World and she still is the most beautiful woman on earth. That’s something stuck with her and no denying that. As an audience, I think a lot of her charm comes from her beauty and demeanor but that shouldn’t take away from her performance capabilities.”
