Salman Khan’s Sikandar opens advance booking with ticket sale of almost Rs 3 crore

The much-anticipated action entertainer Sikandar, starring Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kajal Aggarwal, has kickstarted its advance booking on a solid note. Backed by ace producer Sajid Nadiadwala and helmed by renowned director A.R. Murugadoss, the film is expected to bring back celebrations at the box office.
According to the latest figures by Sacnilk, Sikandar has recorded an advance booking gross of Rs 2.23 crore on its first day across India, with a total of 64,765 tickets. However, the numbers see a significant jump when block seats are considered, bringing the total advance booking gross to Rs 2.96 crore.

A Crucial Film for Salman Khan
After the mixed performance of his recent films like Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Tiger 3 and Dabangg 3 , Sikandar holds a lot of significance for Salman Khan. The actor, who enjoys a massive fan base, is expected to pull in large crowds, especially during the Eid period. With A.R. Murugadoss at the helm, known for his high-octane action films like Ghajini and Holiday, expectations are high for Sikandar to deliver a power-packed cinematic experience.

With Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal adding to the film’s appeal, Sikandar is expected to cater to a wide audience across North and South India, including Salman Khan’s die-hard fans and lovers of action-packed masala entertainers. Industry experts believe that the real surge in ticket sales will be seen closer to the film’s release, especially with the festive period boosting footfalls. If the early trends are anything to go by, Sikandar is set to make a grand entry at the box office.
The biggest day 1 opening for Salman Khan has been Tiger 3 which clocked in Rs 43 crore which was also a Diwali day, it would be interesting to see how big Sikandar will go.
