Ola Electric, in a company statement, attributed this achievement to its extensive S1 scooter range and a network of 4,000 sales and service outlets spanning the country.
Ola Electric recently ventured into the electric motorcycle market by introducing the Roadster X series. Pricing begins at ₹74,999 for the entry-level Roadster X, ₹1,04,999 for the Roadster X+ 4.5kWh variant, and ₹1,54,999 for the Roadster X+ 9.1kWh model, which includes the 4680 Bharat Cell and provides a range of 501 km per charge.
A spokesperson from Ola Electric Mobility Limited stated, “We have successfully maintained a strong sales momentum & leadership position through the month of February. Owing to our wide scooter portfolio across mass and premium segments, and our network of 4,000 stores across India, we are now witnessing a strong uptick in demand beyond urban cities from Tier 3 & 4 towns.”

The company confirmed that Roadster X deliveries will start in March 2025. “With our Roadster X deliveries scheduled next month, we are confident of further accelerating the EV adoption across the 2W category in India,” the spokesperson added.
In addition, Ola Electric unveiled its Gen-3 portfolio, with the S1 X (2kWh) priced at ₹79,999 and the S1 Pro+ 5.3kWh at ₹1,69,999 (introductory rates). Concurrently, the firm released its Moves 5 beta software update, adding features such as Brake by Wire, Smart Park, DIY ride modes, Bharat Mood, and Live Location Sharing, as per the company’s product announcement.
In February 2025, Ola Electric renegotiated terms with its vehicle registration agencies to lower costs and improve efficiency, a move that temporarily reduced registration figures on the VAHAN portal, according to the company’s statement.
