Imran Khan is dating Lekha Washington after his divorce with Avantika Malik. Imran married Avantika in 2011 and they got separated in 2019. While neither of them have spoken about what went wrong, Reddit is filled with some theories as Imran soon revealed that he’s dating Lekha. A post was created on Reddit which gave details about their relationship. This post claimed that Imran cheated on Avantika and cheated on her with Lekha who was married to his best friend.
This post on Reddit said, “Avantika and Imran were the bridesmaids and groomsmen for Lekha and her husband’s wedding. There’s a special place reserved in hell for such people who are not only betray their best friends but also their partners. Avantika went through so much depression. Her profile is such an open book. Her weight gain from medication- depression, and mood changes are so transparent on it. I am guessing it was the same for Lekha’s ex-husband (they were dating for a few years before she married him. God knows what perpetrated all this).”
Another one said, “Imran is an American citizen. His father was known to the US brown diaspora in the 2000s when he worked in the Silicone Valley with Yahoo, but then he joined Netflix around 2010. Imran cheated on Avantika & broke the bro code all at once when he got together with Lekha as the latter was the wife of his best buddy Pablo Chatterjee.”
This has sparked controversy regarding Imran’s relationship with Lekha. Earlier, Imran had spoken up on his relationship with Lekha on ‘Moments Of Silence’ podcast. He said, “We were all in a group of friends. Her then-partner actually was an old school friend of mine. So we were all kind of within the same group of friends.” He had added, “For the initial couple of years of our relationship, she was still in her place and I was in mine. This past year, as we’ve moved into the same space, has been about finding that balance of me saying we have too many things, and she’s like ‘But I found this amazing thing.’”
