Bhumi spent her Sunday in Los Angeles attending a football match featuring Angel City Football Club, a women’s team co-owned by Lilly Singh. Dressed in a black top, leather jacket, and baseball cap, Bhumi looked excited as she cheered for the team. She shared her experience on social media, writing:
“Went to my first-ever soccer game, and thank god it was the women’s team! @weareangelcity co-owned by the amazing @lilly, you’re an inspiration! #GirlsUpliftingGirls.”
During the match, Bhumi got the chance to meet Jennifer Garner, known for her roles in films like ’13 Going on 30′ and the TV series ‘Alias.’. Bhumi shared a picture of their meeting and expressed her excitement, writing, “Had a total fangirl moment meeting Jennifer Garner—her work, her energy, her kindness… just WOW!”
The ‘Badhaai Do’ actress also witnessed the LA Marathon, heard a group of young girls play Mozart’s symphonies, had lunch with friends, and hugged puppies, making it an exciting day.
The night ended on a high note when Bhumi went for dinner at a cozy Thai restaurant. But what made the evening even more special was the fact that Beyoncé and Jay-Z were sitting at the next table! Bhumi did not take any photos but described the experience as “surreal.” She wrote, “Ended the night with the most surreal dinner at a cozy Thai spot… with Jay-Z & Beyoncé at the next table!! No pics, but forever saved in my mind.”
Bhumi’s ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ co-star Arjun Kapoor was quick to comment on her post. He wrote, “Babe, it’s a vibe internationally also…” to which Bhumi replied, “Always, babe, you know.”
