Comedian mocks Ibrahim Ali Khan’s ‘Naadniyan’; says Saif Ali Khan’s attackers should be shown the movie as a punishment

Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s film ‘Nadanniyan’ opened to mixed reviews. It’s a rom-com with which Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan made his debut. Netizens didn’t seem impressed by the movie or by the performance of the actors. Amid all this, stand-up comedian Pranit recently during one of his shows mocked Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor for their work in the film.
Taking a dig at Ibrahim, Pranit joked that the movie is so unbearable that the judge asked Saif Ali Khan’s attacker to watch ‘Nadaaniyan’ as a punishment.
He began his segment by saying “Khushi Kapoor alag level par chal rahi hai.” He said she is consistent with her bad performances, and added, “Khushi ki last movie (‘Loveyapa’) Junaid Khan (Aamir Khan ke bete) ke saath aayi thi, usne uski image kharab kar di. Ab wali movie Saif Ali Khan ke bete Ibrahim Ali Khan ke saath hai, aur uski bhi image kharab kar di.” (Khushi’s last movie (‘Loveyapa’) was with Junaid Khan (Aamir Khan’s son), and she ruined her image. Now her movie is with Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan, and it ruined his image too.)
Khushi Kapoor has decided to destroy the careers of kids’ whose parents starred in ‘Dil Chahta Hai.’ “Akshaye Khanna khush hai, soch raha hoga ‘Accha hua shaadi nahi ki!’ (Askhaye Khanna must be hai, he must be thinking great I didn’t get married),” he added.
Then shifting to Ibrahim Ali Khan he said, “Usne (Ibrahim) itna kharaab kiya hai ki Saif ke attacker ko judge ne bola, ‘Tujhe faansi nahi denge, tujhe ‘Nadaaniyan’ do baar dekhni padegi.’ Woh bechara chilla raha hai, ‘Gala kaat do mera,’ (His work is so bad that the judge said to Saif’s attacker, ‘You will not be hanged, you will have to see ‘Nadaaniyan’ twice’),” the comedian concluded.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Ali Khan and the movie have been facing a lot of criticism after his debut, and addressing the same Karan Johar at a Mumbai event told the media, “Those who know me understand that my relationship with critics doesn’t change based on their reviews. If you liked or disliked the film, that is your perspective. I have always believed that there’s no grand conspiracy to pull a film down, though trolls will do that. But these are frustrated, faceless people behind screens. I pity them.”
