Shahid Kapoor shared an interesting dilemma he faces at home—the ongoing competition between his father, veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, and his wife, Mira Rajput, over who is the best cook.
During the promotion of his film Jersey with Kamiya Jani he admitted that it is a tough fight between the two, as both have their own strengths in the kitchen.According to Shahid, his father is an excellent cook but Mira has a slight edge over him. He also acknowledged that there are some dishes in which Pankaj Kapur surpasses Mira, and takes the lead. Despite this friendly culinary rivalry, he expressed his appreciation for both, recognizing that they are equally talented and bring their own unique flavors to the table.
Apart from discussing the cooking battle at home, Shahid also revealed an interesting aspect of his eating habits. When asked about his favorite late-night snack or go-to 3 AM food, he admitted that he does not have one. Unlike many who indulge in midnight cravings, he explained that he is very particular about his meals and avoids eating in the middle of the night. He makes sure to maintain a 12-hour gap between his meals and ideally finishes his last meal by 8 PM. If work forces him to eat later, he confessed that crossing the 9 PM mark makes him quite grumpy.
Shahid’s last release was Deva- the film had generated a lot of buzz but the film failed to meet the standards and tanked at the box office. He is now teaming up with his old mentor Vishal Bharadwaj for a film called Arjun Ustara which will see him sharing screen space with Triptii Dimrii, Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar and many more.He is also reportedly doing Cocktail 2 with Dinesh Vijan and he also has Farzi 2 with Raj and DK in the pipeline.
