The carrier has been awarded the title of “World’s Youngest Aircraft Fleet 2025’ by ch-aviation in the category of airlines operating 100+ aircraft, which showcases the Gurugram headquartered airline’s commitment to operational efficiency. IndiGo has received the award for the third consecutive year in the category. The carrier has been ranked fourth in Asia for maintaining a modern and efficient fleet with an average aircraft age of 4.38 years. Currently, IndiGo has a fleet of over 400 aircraft, serving over 125 destinations.

Ch-aviation maintains one of the industry’s most extensive and detailed commercial and business aviation database, enabling the assessment of the youngest aircraft fleets. This covers over 110,000 aircraft, more than 13,500 active airlines and 2,900 aircraft owners. To determine the award winners, ch-aviation considered only active commercial operators —both passenger and cargo — with at least five aircraft.
