Aamir Khan introduced his love, Gauri Spratt, to the media and fans on his 60th birthday this month. The ‘PK’ actor explained how he fell for her and disclosed that his family and children had already met Gauri. Now, Aamir’s sister, Nikhat Khan Hegde, has reacted to Aamir’s new relationship and shared when she first met Gauri in Mumbai.
Recently, Nikhat Khan expressed her joy over his newfound love. While speaking to Times Applaud Trends, she shared her happiness and admiration for Spratt. “Hum log bahut khush hain Aamir ke liye aur Gauri ke liye bhi kyunki vo bahut hi achi insaan hain aur hum bahut chahte hain ke ye log dono khush rahein hamesha hamesha (We’re very happy for Aamir and Gauri as she is a wonderful human being. We want them to stay happy always),” she said. Nikhat also revealed that she had met Gauri in Mumbai almost a year ago.
Apart from his family, several industry colleagues have also extended their support and best wishes for Aamir’s relationship. Director Vikram Bhatt, who worked with him in Ghulam, told ETimes, “Having someone to hold your hand, someone to understand you, someone to say that it’s going to be alright. I’m very happy for Aamir if he has found that in a person. I wish him the best because he’s a great guy and deserves happiness.”
Aamir and Gauri were recently spotted together in the city, and the actor looked elated while greeting the paparazzi.
On the work front, Nikhat is gearing up for the release of ‘L2: Empuraan‘, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The Mohanlal-starrer is all set to hit theatres on March 27.
