Aamir Khan reacts to Junaid Khan's film Loveyapa's failure: 'Accha hua...'

Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan, debuted in Loveyapa, a romantic comedy co-starring Khushi Kapoor. Despite the film’s box office struggles, Aamir expressed optimism, saying, “Accha hua”, and believes Junaid will continue to learn and grow in his career.
During a recent conversation with Instant Bollywood, Aamir discussed Junaid’s career over the past three to four years, expressing his belief that Junaid has started strongly. Aamir commended Junaid’s work, emphasizing his exceptional talent. He noted that Junaid’s greatest strength lies in his ability to fully immerse himself in his characters. For instance, in ‘Maharaj’, Junaid seamlessly becomes the character he portrays, and in ‘Loveyapa’, he convincingly transforms into Gaurav. Aamir views this capacity to embody roles as Junaid’s most significant asset.
Khan accepted both the strengths and weaknesses of his son Junaid as an actor. While praising Junaid’s talent and dedication to his craft, Aamir pointed out that, like himself, Junaid struggles with dancing and social interactions. He also noted Junaid’s unconventional responses during interviews but expressed confidence that he will improve over time. Reflecting on the failure of ‘Loveyapa’, Aamir viewed it as a valuable learning experience, believing it would make Junaid tougher and more determined to succeed. Aamir remains optimistic about his son’s growth and career trajectory.
The actor noted that he often sees reflections of himself in Junaid, particularly in their shared introverted nature and awkwardness during interviews. Despite these similarities, Aamir emphasized that both he and Junaid are guided by a strong set of values that influence their decisions, even if those choices appear unconventional to others.
