The Tamil Nadu government on Thursday (March 13) replaced the Rupee symbol (₹) with a Tamil language symbol representing the same on its Tamil Nadu Budget 2025-26.

This comes amidst the three-language policy row between the DMK and the Centre. The issue has rocked the ongoing Parliament session.
