Sunita Williams is finally back on Earth! After an unexpected nine-month mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS), she and fellow astronaut Butch Wilmore safely returned home. Their journey, which was supposed to last just eight days, turned into a long and challenging adventure. As they touched down on Earth, people around the world, including many Indian celebrities, celebrated their heroic return.
Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram stories and said, “#SunitaWilliams, proving once again that the sky is NOT the limit! Welcome back!”
R. Madhavan reshared a video of Williams waving after landing, writing, “Welcome back to Earth, our dear Sunita Williams. Our prayers have been answered. So wonderful to see you safe and smiling.
