The internet was left shocked as reports suggested that Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja are heading for a divorce. Govinda reacted to these reports and told ETimes, “There are only business talks going…..I am in the process of starting my films.” Meanwhile, Sunita has not responded to our messages. Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha told ETimes, “There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members from the family. There is nothing more to it and Govinda is in process of starting a film for which artists are visiting our office. We are trying to resolve it. “
When Etimes contacted Sunita, she did not respond. Meanwhile, her manager has now reacted to these rumours. She told Mint, “This is not true.” She refused to comment further on this. Meanwhile, Govinda’s manager Shashi further elaborated to HT City, “Sunita ji ne jo recent interviews mein baatein boli hain, yeh unn sab ka nateeja hai. Unhone zyaada bol diya hai (The rumours began as a result of everything Sunita Ji has been saying in recent interviews. She might have said a bit too much. And you know Govinda sir… there is friction.”
He further urged people to wait for a day or two for the final statement on this from the couple. Meanwhile, Sunita has been making headlines since the last few days as she’s giving various statements to the press during interviews. She had commented that while she was a secure wife earlier, now she feels insecure. She said that now Govinda is 60 years old and one never knows what people do after 60. What if he goes and has an affair now.
She had also revealed that she lives separately from her husband. Govinda and Sunita have two children – Narmada (Tina) Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja.
