The Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry Federation (Andhra Pradesh Chambers) welcomed the Andhra Pradesh (A.P.) State Budget for FY 2025-26 presented by Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav in the Legislative Assembly on February 28, 2025, saying that it was growth-oriented and has decent allocations for welfare.
A.P. Chambers’ president P. Bhaskara Rao said in a press release that the Budget has provided for developmental activities and the implementation of Super Six and other promises.
He stated that the Budget has sown seeds for the realisation of Swarna Andhra Vision 2047, and said that the allocation of ₹42,635 crore for capital expenditure was commendable.
Besides, due priority has been given to the construction of the capital city Amaravati and Polavaram project. The government announced sufficient Budgetary allocations to support the industrial policies.
“The Budget is pragmatic and progressive. The government has taken steps to improve the State’s income. The development of Amaravati, industrial corridors, ports and airports, and completion of Polavaram project will facilitate economic progress”, Mr. Rao added.
