The SSC will publish cut-off marks together with category-wise divisions and force-wise selection standards. The merit list will comprise candidates who qualified for selections in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) as well as for Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau. The selected candidates can proceed for the next stage of the recruitment process.
The SSC GD Constable 2025 recruitment exam took place across various dates between February 4 and 7 and from February 10 to 25 this year. The exam was held in computer-based test mode with each correct response carrying two marks.
For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks were deducted. The SSC GD exam was held in English, Hindi and 13 regional languages- Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Manipuri, Assamese, Bengali, Konkani, Marathi, Telugu, and Urdu. The provisional answer key and response sheet were released on March 4 and candidates were allowed to file objections between March 4 and March 9.
The selection process includes multiple stages:
Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Physical Standard Test (PST).
Medical Examination.
The final selection list will include all candidates who demonstrate qualification at every stage of the process. The initiative intends to recruit 39,481 individuals for various security forces.
