Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal made heads turn as they attended filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s intimate birthday celebration in Mumbai on Monday night. The trio, who are set to headline Bhansali’s much-anticipated epic Love & War, arrived in style, with Ranbir and Alia making a fashionable couple’s entry, while Vicky arrived solo.
Alia exuded effortless elegance in an ivory co-ord set featuring a structured puff-sleeve top and flared trousers. She completed her look with a chic white Gucci handbag, matching block heels, and soft, minimal makeup. Ranbir complemented her with a smart yet relaxed ensemble, donning a denim blue shirt, crisp white trousers, and white sneakers, accessorized with black sunglasses.
Vicky Kaushal, on the other hand, went for an understated all-black look, sporting a full-sleeve Henley T-shirt, tailored trousers, and polished black shoes. His well-groomed mustache added a touch of old-world charm to his appearance.
The night was not just about celebrations but also a reminder of the cinematic journey that awaits. Love & War, officially announced in January 2024, is set for a Christmas 2025 release. The film’s announcement, featuring the signatures of Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky, has already built significant excitement among fans.
Ranbir, who started his career under Bhansali’s mentorship as an assistant director in Black (2005) before making his acting debut in Saawariya (2007), has often expressed his deep admiration for the filmmaker. Reflecting on their collaboration, he previously shared, “I am extremely excited. He is my godfather. Everything I know about films, everything I know about acting, it is something I learnt from him.”
For Alia, Love & War marks her second collaboration with Bhansali after the acclaimed Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022), a role that won her a National Award. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal is set to work with Bhansali for the first time, making the project even more exciting for fans.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor, fresh off the success of Animal, is currently filming Ramayana alongside Sai Pallavi and Yash. Alia Bhatt is busy with Alpha, while Vicky Kaushal is enjoying the blockbuster success of Chhaava, which has surpassed the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office.
