“…this is to inform that RailTel Corporation of India Ltd (the company) has received the work order from Border Security Force for an order amounting to ₹ 19,08,82,886 (including tax),” according to a stock exchange filing.
The order involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning (SITC) of hardware and software for setting up BSF’s private cloud infrastructure. The project is expected to be completed by June 3, 2025, under the terms outlined in the purchase order.

Last week, RailTel Corporation of India said it had received two work orders totalling ₹63.55 crore, including tax, from state authorities in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha.
The company secured a ₹37.18-crore contract from Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd for system integration, expansion of the state data centre (SDC), and establishment of a disaster recovery (DR) centre. The project is scheduled for completion by June 27, 2029.
Additionally, RailTel received a ₹26.37-crore contract from Cuttack Development Authority for setting up 14 units of a billboard system, including hardware, AMC, and command control support across various locations in Cuttack city. This project is expected to be completed by July 11, 2025.
For the third quarter, Railtel Corporation of India’s net profit increased by 4.7% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹65 crore compared to ₹62.1 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations surged 14.8% YoY to ₹767.6 crore, up from ₹668.4 crore in Q3 FY24.

However, the company’s EBITDA saw a 6.6% YoY decline, coming in at ₹121 crore as against ₹129.7 crore in the year-ago quarter. Consequently, the EBITDA margin contracted to 15.8%, down from 19.4% in Q3 FY24.
Shares of Railtel Corporation of India Ltd ended at ₹296.15, up by ₹6.45, or 2.23%, on the BSE.
