The Asus Vivobook 16 and Zenbook A14 are the first devices powered by Snapdragon X in India, available for pre-order starting at ₹65,990. Qualcomm says the platform provides up to 163% faster performance at ISO-power than competitors while consuming significantly less energy.
“As AI becomes essential in daily life, we see a great opportunity to transform the PC industry,” said Kedar Kondap, SVP & GM, Compute and Gaming, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. “Snapdragon X will make AI-powered computing more affordable and accessible for all.”
Expanding retail and software ecosystem
Qualcomm is also expanding its retail footprint with a new offline Experience Zone at Croma in Mumbai and a partnership with Flipkart Minutes, enabling 10-minute delivery of Snapdragon X laptops.
Additionally, the company is working with multiple Indian software vendors to enhance AI capabilities, featuring tools like Tech Mahindra’s Indic LLM (IndusQ) for regional dialect support and Kroop AI’s deepfake detection technology.
“With Snapdragon X, we are not just continuing our legacy of innovation but also making AI technology more accessible,” said Savi Soin, SVP & President, Qualcomm India.
