According to an official statement, PM Modi will be in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, where he will lay the foundation stone for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute in Chhatarpur.
On Monday, he will travel to Bhagalpur in Bihar to release the 19th instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme, providing direct financial support of over ₹21,500 crore to approximately 9.7 crore farmers across the country. During his Bihar visit, the Prime Minister is also expected to inaugurate several development projects before heading to Assam.
In Assam, PM Modi will attend Jhumoi Binandini on Monday evening, a large-scale cultural event showcasing the traditional Jhumoir dance, significant to Assam’s tea tribe and Scheduled Tribe communities.
The event, expected to feature around 8,000 performers, will commemorate 200 years of Assam’s tea industry and industrialisation, the statement added.
On Tuesday, Modi will inaugurate the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit in Guwahati. The summit will include an inaugural session, seven ministerial sessions, and 14 thematic discussions.
It will also feature a major exhibition highlighting Assam’s economic progress, industrial sector, global trade ties, and MSME growth, with participation from over 240 exhibitors, according to the statement.
The Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal, spanning two days, aims to position Madhya Pradesh as an investment hub. The event will host sector-specific sessions on pharmaceuticals, medical devices, transport, logistics, industry, skill development, tourism, and MSMEs. It will also include international discussions, particularly engaging with nations from the Global South, Latin America, and the Caribbean, while focusing on partnerships with key countries, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) stated.
The summit will feature three large-scale industrial exhibitions: an automobile showcase, a textile and fashion expo, and an exhibition under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, showcasing the state’s traditional craftsmanship and cultural identity. Over 300 Indian industry leaders, representatives from more than 60 countries, and officials from various international organisations are expected to attend.
During his Bihar visit, Modi will also inaugurate a Centre of Excellence for Indigenous breeds in Motihari and a milk product plant in Barauni, aimed at supporting three lakh dairy farmers by developing an organised market for milk production, the statement noted.
Additionally, the event in Bhagalpur will mark a milestone with the establishment of the country’s 10,000th Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) under the Centre’s scheme promoting collective marketing and production for farmers. The PMO highlighted that Modi has prioritised ensuring better financial returns for farmers and launched the initiative to strengthen FPOs nationwide.
