Delhi CM Announcement Live: The wait for Delhi’s next leader is almost over as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) gears up to announce its Chief Minister (CM). With Parvesh Verma and Ramesh Bidhuri emerging as the top contenders, all eyes are on the crucial decision that will shape the capital’s political landscape.
The BJP will hold the swearing-in ceremony for the new Delhi CM on February 20 at Ramlila Maidan, following a legislative party meeting on February 19 to finalise the CM pick.
The event is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and several other top leaders, with invitations extended to former CMs Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Over 1 lakh people, including saints, seers, and community leaders, are expected to attend.
