Bhutani Bayview Film City has officially taken possession of the first phase of Bhutani Bayview International Film City in Noida. Spanning 230 acres, the initial phase comes with an investment of ₹1,510 crore. The company claims that the first phase of Bhutani Bayview International Film City will feature state-of-the-art sound stages, a dedicated film university, and cutting-edge production facilities, creating a fully integrated hub for filmmaking. Designed to support every stage of production, from pre- to post-production, the project aims to position Noida as a global filmmaking destination.

According to the Bhutani Group, the film university will nurture emerging talent, particularly from Uttar Pradesh, equipping them with industry-ready skills to bring stories to life. The film city will also introduce advanced infrastructure, including virtual studios, underwater filming facilities, and high-tech LED screens for real-time visualisation—eliminating the need for traditional green screens. The project aligns with the Uttar Pradesh government’s vision to establish the state as a leading film production hub under the Uttar Pradesh Film Policy 2023.

With significant subsidies for filmmakers, incentives for employing local talent, and a strong focus on attracting investment, the film city is set to generate thousands of jobs and contribute to the state’s economic growth. Filmmakers will have access to on-site cameras, lighting, cranes, and other essential equipment, reducing logistical challenges. Strategically located just 6 kilometres from Noida International Airport, the film city at Sector 21, YEIDA, is set to become a major hub for the global motion picture industry.

A defining landmark of the development will be a massive “ॐ” symbol spanning 250 acres, designed to be visible from space and set to feature in the second phase of development. This, along with world-class infrastructure, will position Noida as a global entertainment hub, attracting investment and redefining India’s filmmaking landscape.

Sustainability is expected to be a core priority, with dedicated zones for production and commercial spaces designed to meet high environmental benchmarks. The project will target GRIHA 4-Star and IGBC Gold Certification, ensuring responsible development and long-term efficiency. Bhutani Bayview International Film City will be a fully integrated ecosystem, bridging a critical gap, as North, Central, and East India currently lack a dedicated film city.

Strategic features expected to be included are: The Gateway, with its twin towers and sphere arcade, which will serve as the main entry point, seamlessly linking commercial, retail, and hospitality spaces. The Island Resort will provide high-end accommodations for filmmakers, crew, and visitors, fostering a work-live environment within the creative hub.

The Film Academy, integrated with production facilities, will develop industry-ready professionals, strengthening the regional and national talent pipeline. The Studios will offer advanced production and post-production infrastructure, catering to both domestic and international projects with purpose-built sets and on-site accommodations. The Film Arts Village will foster creative synergies through boutique studios, galleries, and workshops, while The Red-Carpet Zone will host premieres, industry events, and exclusive experiences—positioning Noida as a key player in global entertainment. Canal Walk & The Greenway will enhance public engagement with cultural pavilions, waterside dining, and a dynamic waterfront promenade.
