This includes domestic sales of 174,379 units and exports of 25,021 units, compared to 168,544 units and 28,927 units, respectively in the same month last year.
Total domestic passenger vehicle sales reached 160,791 units last month, slightly up from 160,271 units in February 2024. Sales to other OEMs stood at 10,878 units, doubling from 5,147 units a year ago. Including light commercial vehicles, total domestic sales were 163,501 units compared to 163,397 units in February 2024.
In the mini-segment comprising Alto and S-Presso, sales dropped to 10,226 units from 14,782 units in February 2024. Compact car sales, including Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, and WagonR, increased to 72,942 units from 71,627 units.

Utility vehicle sales, covering the Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, and XL6, rose to 65,033 units from 61,234 units. The mid-size car Ciaz saw sales climb to 1,097 units from 481 units.
Meanwhile, van Eeco sales fell to 11,493 units from 12,147 units, and light commercial vehicle Super Carry sales decreased to 2,710 units from 3,126 units.
Production in February 2025 totalled 187,414 units, up from 178,261 units in February 2024. This includes 183,999 passenger vehicles and 3,415 Super Carry units. Mini segment production was 12,198 units, down from 13,891 units, while compact segment production rose to 89,849 units from 89,097 units.
Utility vehicle production increased to 66,647 units from 56,872 units, mid-size Ciaz production jumped to 2,900 units from 1,465 units, and van Eeco production fell to 12,405 units from 13,218 units.
