Tata Motors secured fourth place with 46,811 units, a 9% decline, while Toyota reported 26,414 domestic PV sales, contributing to a 13% rise in its total sales.
Kia’s total sales reached 25,026 units, up 23.8%, and JSW MG Motor India saw retail sales climb 16.3% to 4,956 units, with electric vehicles (EVs) accounting for 78% of its volume.
Total Sales Overview
When factoring in exports and commercial vehicles, Mahindra led the pack with 83,702 units, a 15% increase from the previous year. Tata Motors followed with 79,344 units, down 8%, while Hyundai’s total sales fell 3% to 58,727 units.
Maruti Suzuki’s total sales grew slightly to 1,99,400 units. Toyota’s total sales rose 13% to 28,414 units, and Kia posted a 23.8% increase to 25,026 units.
