The approval paves the way for commercial flight operations, bringing economic growth, tourism, and development opportunities to the region. Alliance Air is set to launch flights on the Mumbai-Amravati-Mumbai route, initially operating three times a week.
“As we committed, the flight operations from and to Amravati will begin by this month-end,” Fadnavis tweeted, reaffirming the government’s push for better air connectivity to tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
With scheduled flights set to commence soon, Amravati is poised to benefit from greater connectivity and economic opportunities, enhancing accessibility for both residents and businesses.
