Kiara Advani has reportedly secured a record-breaking paycheck for her role in Yash’s highly anticipated film, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’. The actress has been signed for a staggering fee of Rs 15 crore for the pan-world big-budget project, making her one of the highest-paid actresses in the industry.
According to Bollywood Hungama, an industry insider revealed that Kiara, who enjoys a huge fan following, has received this substantial paycheck due to her consistent box office success. She has now reportedly become one of the highest-paid actresses with a fee of Rs 15 crore, placing her on par with Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.
Previously, Deepika Padukone held the record as the highest-paid actress, having earned Rs 23 crore for Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’ Priyanka Chopra is reportedly charging Rs 30 crore for her upcoming project with SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu.
‘Toxic’, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is reportedly being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English. The film features Darrell D’Silva and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles.
On the work front, Kiara Advani was last seen in ‘Game Changer’ alongside Ram Charan. The political drama, directed by S Shankar, also featured Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, and Jayaram in crucial roles. There were reports about Kiara opting out of Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’, where she was to star alongside Ranveer Singh. The actress will soon share the screen with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in ‘War 2‘.
On the personal front, Kiara is all set to welcome her first child with her husband, actor Sidharth Malhotra. The couple took to their social media handles to share the joyous news on February 28.
