He said recent budget announcements are expected to encourage consumers to spend more on higher-end products, particularly in urban markets where demand for premium kitchenware is rising.
“We do see that the monies that flow in, hopefully, would be steered towards the consumption categories, and we are one of the consumption categories. We did see a slow demand post-COVID; during COVID we saw a very accelerated demand. With this change, hopefully, we should be getting a bump up in the demand as well,” he said.
While demand is returning across major product categories, including cookers, cookware, and appliances, appliances are leading the recovery.

“We have been well entrenched in the segment, and we have been doing our production, domestic production, less of Chinese demand dependence right now,” he said.
He believes the cookware segment is set for growth, driven by product innovation and increasing consumer interest in smarter kitchen solutions.

The market capitalisation of TTK Prestige is around ₹8,558 crore. Its shares have declined close to 16% in the past year.
