In January, Nishant said, “Please make my father win again, he has done a lot of work.” In February, Nishant spoke to the media twice, highlighting the work his father has done for Bihar. Nishant has become more vocal than before and now openly shares his views on political issues. Earlier, when reporters asked him questions, he would avoid them, but now he responds with a smile.
On a regional YouTube channel, Live Cities, Nishant discussed Bihar politics. He said, “Anyone can say whatever they want, but I want to tell you that Papa is absolutely fine. He is doing all the work of the government. He visited 38 districts during the Pragati Yatra in Bihar and is overseeing all the development works. My father is healthy and can easily remain CM for five more years. The public will see those who speak differently.”
In response to questions about Tejashwi Yadav and Prashant Kishor questioning his father’s health, Nishant said, “There is democracy in India, and everyone has the right to express their views. But the public knows the truth. They will see those who speak like this about my father during the elections.”
When asked about declaring Nitish Kumar as the CM face of NDA, Nishant said, “There are still eight months left until the elections, which will be held in October-November. The NDA will sit together and declare my father as the CM face, as they have discussed before. There is no problem with that.”
When asked if Nishant would join politics, he smiled and avoided the question. Regarding Tej Pratap Yadav’s offer to join RJD, Nishant said, “This is his thinking, and I don’t know why he said that.” On the topic of Jungle Raj before 2005, Nishant said, “The public will tell what was there at that time. The public knows everything.” Regarding Lalu Yadav, Nishant said, “He is an uncle. He and my father started student politics together during JP’s time.”
When asked what he likes most about his father, Nishant said, “The best thing about my father is that he works for the people selflessly. Even when he won over 100 seats in 2010, he worked hard. In 2020, when he won only 42 seats, he continued to work for the people. The public should make him CM again by giving him more seats so he can continue to develop Bihar.” Nishant also mentioned that he likes PM Modi. However, he again avoided the question about marriage.
