MG Comet Blackstorm Edition
JSW MG Motor India launched the Comet Blackstorm Edition in India, with a starting price of ₹7.8 lakh (ex-showroom). However, this price excludes the cost of the battery which comes with BaaS (Battery As A Service) options at ₹2.5/km. The small electric car receives visual enhancements over the standard variant and can be booked at a nominal fee of ₹11,000.
The Comet Blackstorm features a Starry Black paint scheme with red accents around the body. The all-new vehicle also consists of some additional features like keyless entry, manual air conditioning and heating, USB ports, a 12V power outlet, and power-adjustable and foldable outside rearview mirrors, among others.
Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Edition
Mahindra launched the Scorpio-N Carbon Edition to celebrate the sales of 2 lakh units of the popular vehicle. This special edition SUV brings an all-black look, giving it an even bolder appearance. It features a metallic black theme across its exterior, like blacked-out roof rails, smoked chrome accents and black alloy wheels. The brand has also extended this dark treatment to the front grille, door handles, headlamp cluster and tail lamps. This edition’s seven-seater variations, the Z8 and Z8L, both have LED headlights, indicators and fog lamps.
Ducati DesertX Discovery
Ducati has expanded the family of adventure bikes with the launch of the DesertX Discovery in India at a starting price of ₹21.78 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a similar silhouette to the standard variant of the bike. To set it apart, it is given a distinctive livery in black, white and red. The bike also gets a five-inch TFT screen, turn-by-turn navigation, heated grips and more. The Ducati DesertX Discovery has a 937 cc L-twin engine, which is connected to a six-speed transmission. The engine produces 108 hp at 9,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 92 Nm.
Jawa 350 Legacy Edition
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the Jawa 350 Legacy Edition at an introductory price of ₹ 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle special edition continues to be powered by a 334 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 22 hp at 7,000 rpm and 28.1 Nm at 5,000 rpm. It is now available at select dealerships across various locations in India.
Revolt RV BlazeX
Revolt Motors has launched the RV BlazeX electric motorcycle in the Indian market with a starting price of ₹1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The deliveries for the new EV are expected to begin in the first week of March 2025, while bookings have already started with a token amount of ₹499. It boasts a more powerful 4.1 kW motor that delivers 5.49 bhp and 45 Nm of torque. Fast charging allows the bike to reach 80 per cent charge in just 80 minutes, whereas standard charging takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Bajaj GoGo e-autos
Bajaj Auto has launched a new brand for electric autos, Bajaj GoGo. The brand has launched three variants -the P5009, the P5012, and the P7012. The versions are named strategically, with ‘P’ standing for passengers, the first two digits – 50 and 70 – representing size and the last two digits indicating battery capacity (9 kWh, 12 kWh and 12 kWh). The bookings for the e-autos are already open at the authorised dealer store. The P5009 comes with a price tag of ₹3,26,797 (ex-showroom) while the P7012 is available at ₹3,83,004 (ex-showroom).
