Marwah noted that while the industry is already collaborating with the government on the Automotive Mission Plan, the government is also keen on public-private partnerships to promote skilling initiatives.

On tariffs, she stated that it was too early to comment, but expressed confidence that India would eventually achieve self-sufficiency in auto components, with the government calibrating import duties based on market dynamics.
