The provision was earlier in place until the end of March this year. Myanmar is the main exporting country of Urad to India. “The free import policy of Urad stands extended up to March 31, 2026,” the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has said in a notification. The rupee depreciated by 36 paise to close at 87.31 against the U.S. dollar on Monday due to a strong dollar demand in the market owing to capital outflows. The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Principal Bench, New Delhi has upheld the approval by National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Mumbai and Ahmedabad benches for delisting of ICICI Securities.
