A delegation of the 16th Finance Commission (FC) led by its Chairman Arvind Panagariya arrived here on Tuesday (April 15, 2025) night. They were welcomed by Finance Minister Pyyavula Keshav.

Mr. Panagariya and his team are scheduled to meet the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat on Wednesday (April 16, 2025) morning.
Mr. Naidu will be making a presentation to the Finance Commission on the State finances, after which they will be meeting representatives of political parties.
On April 17, the Finance Commission team will be visiting Tirupati, where they will hold parleys with industry and trade associations and representatives of local bodies.
They will be returning to the national capital on April 18 after having darshan at Tirumala temple.
