Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have decided to keep their daughter, Raha Kapoor, away from the public eye. Alia recently removed all photos showing Raha’s face from her Instagram. Reports suggest the couple has also asked paparazzi not to click on Raha’s pictures anymore.
Earlier, on Christmas 2023, Alia and Ranbir introduced Raha to the world at the Kapoor family lunch. Since then, she has won hearts with her cuteness. However, now the couple wants to protect her privacy, similar to how Kareena Kapoor shields her sons from media attention.
Alia Bhatt has reportedly removed all pictures of her daughter, Raha Kapoor, from Instagram where her face was visible. Fans noticed this on Twitter and Reddit. There are also rumors that Alia and Ranbir Kapoor have asked paparazzi to stop clicking Raha’s photos, similar to how Kareena Kapoor Khan protects her sons, Taimur and Jeh, from the media. For those not in the know, Saif and Kareena have requested the paps to not click Taimur and Jeh now, after the attack on the actor. Earlier, they have always been okay with it. But now due to security reasons, they have decided this.
The reason behind this move is unknown, but fans are fully supporting Alia and Ranbir’s decision to maintain their daughter’s privacy.
Several social users have supported them saying, “100% support her here. Never a fan of Alia. Mostly a critic lol. But there are too many creeps and weirdos on the net. As a parent – whatever she feels as a protective action – she should do it”. Another user said, “It’s completely in the hands of celebs if they want to expose the kids or give them a normal life. We don’t get to hear about KJO’s kids and I really admire him for that. He never brings their topic at all. Similarly Rani and Adi’s daughter never gets attention because they don’t want to.”
Professionally, Alia Bhatt has reunited with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Love and War’. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Meanwhile, Ranbir will be seen in the much-anticipated film ‘Ramayana’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film’s first and second parts scheduled for its release on Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027.
