“Malaria was rampant, and Dudhwa National Park lacked proper access, but now, plans are in place to build an airport in Palia,” said Adityanath and discussed strategies to tackle the region’s flooding problems, including flood prevention measures and river channelisation efforts, all while ensuring compliance with relevant authorities.
Meanwhile, in an address, Adityanath highlighted that the “double-engine” government would enhance both spiritual and eco-tourism in the region and emphasised that these developments would create substantial job opportunities. He also mentioned the inauguration of projects worth ₹4,500 crore in Lakhimpur Kheri, including the Gola Gokarnath temple corridor and India’s first bioplastic manufacturing plant by Balrampur Sugar Mill Limited.
Additionally, he referred to the ₹2,850 crore plastic plant being set up in Kumbhi. The Chief Minister announced the opening of Dudhwa National Park and the commencement of a new medical college in the district. He commended PM Modi for supporting products from the Tharu tribe, which help preserve their cultural heritage, and assured that public representatives remain committed to supporting the region’s development.
The event was also attended by Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh, Excise Minister Nitin Agarwal, and Gola MLA Aman Giri.
