The wait is finally over! The makers of Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s highly anticipated action drama, Sikandar, have officially announced its release date. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar is set to hit theatres on March 30.
Ahead of its release, a special screening was held at Excel office in Khar, Mumbai, which saw the entire Khan family in attendance. Salman Khan was joined by Arbaaz Khan and his wife Sshura Khan, their father and legendary screenwriter Salim Khan, Aayush Sharma with wife Arpita Khan Sharma, Alvira Khan with Atul Agnihotri and their kids Alizeh Agnihotri and Ayaan Agnihotri, along with Arhaan Khan, son of Arbaaz and Malaika Arora, producer Nikhil Dwivedi and director AR Murugadoss.

Last month, Salman Khan shared an action-packed teaser introducing his character Sanjay, affectionately called Sikandar by his grandmother. The teaser, packed with high-octane action sequences and mass-appeal dialogues, featured Salman in his trademark larger-than-life avatar. His punchlines like “Kayde mein raho, fayde mein rahoge” and “Insaaf nahi, hisab karne aaya hun” have already gone viral on social media.
Adding to the excitement, the makers recently released the film’s title track, Sikandar Naache, featuring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna. The energetic dance number showcases Salman’s signature moves while Rashmika stuns with her graceful expressions and powerful screen presence.
The team has officially wrapped up the shooting for Sikandar. The final schedule was shot in Mumbai, with Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, AR Murugadoss, and Sajid Nadiadwala in attendance. The film was extensively shot over 90 days across multiple locations, including Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, known for blockbusters like Ghajini and Thuppakki, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s return to the big screen in a power-packed action role. The film also reunites him with Nadiadwala after their 2014 hit, Kick.
The film’s March 30 release is set to be a grand affair as it coincides with the festivals of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, marking the New Year celebrations in Maharashtra and South India.
