When Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on October 29, 2021, due to cardiac arrest, the nation was left in shock. Among the many celebrities mourning his loss, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram stories to pay tribute to the late actor. Sharing a throwback video of Puneeth, she described his passing as a “big loss.”
In the emotional video, Puneeth is seen attending an event, marching confidently to the stage while his fans cheer him on. Kangana reposted the clip with folded-hand emojis and the words “Big Loss,” expressing her grief.
Puneeth Rajkumar, who was only 46 years old, suffered a fatal cardiac arrest while working out at a gym. Despite being rushed to Bengaluru’s Vikram Hospital, he could not be saved. Known affectionately as “Appu” and “Powerstar” by his fans, Puneeth was not just a beloved actor but also a respected humanitarian.
Kangana’s tribute reflects the widespread admiration for Puneeth across the entertainment industry. “It is rare for an actor to command such love from both fans and peers,” she acknowledged, echoing the sentiments of many.
