Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has a huge fan following even in India. With her shows like Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, Mere Humsafar, Dil Ruba, Anaa and more, she’s not just a star in Pakistan but has gained immense popularity even in India. Infact, Hania is often called ‘Pakistan Ki Alia Bhatt’ and she feels very good about it, takes it as a compliment.
Hania dropped some photos on Holi and she was seen flaunting a bindi in it. However, it did not go down well with people from Pakistan as they trolled her. A comment read, “That bindi makes me to unfollow uh! it’s ramdan broo and ur doing thissss in Pakistan.” Another person wrote, “Yaar main aapki bahut badi fan Thi lekin bht disappointed kiya apnay aap Musalman hokar hinduon ka riwaj karti hai.”
A person said, “Maturity is realising..she is doing this to gain much popularity from Indian audience.” Some users also trolled for wishing ‘Happy Holi’ and said it was ‘un-Islamic’.
The actress dropped a series of photos with the caption, “A wise man once spit facts; hear no evil, see no evil so I speak no evil. Also Happy Holi to everyone celebrating!”
Fans came in Hania’s defence after she got trolled. A person said, “Nothing disgusts me more than seeing such illiterate comments on a normal post.” Another person said she’s looking cute. A user commented, “If you cannot tolerate something as small as a bindi — which is not even a core part of Hindu religious practice — then how can you tolerate a Hindu? Yet, you claim that Islam is a peaceful religion.” A user said, “I am a Pakistani Muslim….and when I was small, I used to wear bindi on all the functions like eid, chandraat, etc….my mum used to bring it for me from Pakistan all the time cuz I loved it.”
Hania was recently spotted at Diljit Dosanjh’s concert, which was also attended by Badshah. She has also been in the news for rumours of relationship with Badshah.
