The sequel to War is being helmed by Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji. Meanwhile, the box office was initially set for a showdown between War 2 and Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Coolie, both of which were slated for release around the same Independence Day weekend. However, after discussions between the two film teams, they have agreed to avoid direct competition. Coolie, starring Nagarjuna Akkineni and Shruti Haasan, is now expected to be released on a different weekend, with its new release date still under negotiation.
