Earlier this month Ibrahim Ali Khan marked his debut with ‘Nadaaniyan,’ which released on OTT. The film opened to mixed reviews, but it seems there are words by one critic that got under the skin of Ibrahim Ali Khan. Reports suggest he landed himself in hot waters after allegedly responding to a Pakistani film critic’s review of his debut film.
Taking to his social media handle, Pakistani film critic Tamus Iqbat has alleged that Ibrahim lashed out at the reviewer for his harsh comments via direct message on Instagram.
As per the screenshot, shared by Tamur, Irabhim’s message read, “Tamur almost like Taimoor… you got my brother’s name. Guess what you don’t got? His face. You ugly piece of trash. Since you can’t keep your words to yourself, don’t bother, they’re irrelevant just like you. Ugly goddamn piece of sh** I feel bad for you and your family – and if I see you on the streets one day, I’ll make sure I leave you uglier than you are – you walking piece of sc**”
Tamur also didn’t hold back in responding, according to the same screenshot, his reply read, “Hahahahaha see that’s my man. This is the guy I want to see in the movie. Not that fake cornetto mushy cringy human. But hey yes that nose job comment was in bad taste. Rest I totally own up. Massive fan of your dad, don’t let him down.”
The alleged review on which the entire conversation happened isn’t available on Tamur’s story anymore. However, the exchanged texts clarify that in his post, Tamur took a dig at the actor’s appearance.
Moreover, as Tamur shared the screenshot on his social media handle, one of the internet users wrote – “You can review his acting..nose job comment was unnecessary,” to which the critic replied, “I agree and hence apologised for it to his comment in my Dm.”
In his social media story, Tamur also shared that Ibrahim has blocked him on Instagram.
