Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli ha fans on social media swooning over their love story, when they packed on the PDA on and off the field following India’s victory in the Champions Trophy final against New Zealand.
The cricketer and his actress wife, were captured on-camera having their own mini-celebrations by hugging and teasing each other, while also whispering into each other’s ears as joined fellow players on the field. Following the mush-fest that had fans setting #RelationshipGoals, a resurfaced interview of Anushka on Simi Garewal’s talk show, India’s Most Desirable, reignited discussions about love and romance.
In the candid conversation, the star shared her perspective on relationships and the kind of gestures she finds truly romantic. When asked if she considered herself a romantic person, Sharma responded, “What is a romantic? What do you like if you are romantic?”She then went on to elaborate her idea of romance, stating that it lies in small, thoughtful gestures rather than grand displays of affection. “For me, if a guy is caring towards me, and he does it in a way that it comes out naturally for him, that is being romantic,” she explained. Going on to give an example, she said, “If I am sick and he passes me medicine or says, ‘You should have this’ without making a big deal out of it—for me, that is more than enough.”
The interview, which originally aired years ago, made hearts flutter once again with fans declaring them as, “Number 1 jodi!” Another said, “They were made for each other.” Still others marvelled at the Virushka love story and said, “May this kind of love find us.”
Anushka and Virat are now parents to two kids – Vamika and Akaay.
