BJP’s ‘Triple Engine’ Governance Model
Highlighting the BJP’s dominance at the central, state, and municipal levels, Saini remarked, “The people have given their stamp of approval to the works and policies of the BJP government.”
He emphasised that this “triple engine government” would accelerate progress towards a “Viksit Haryana, Viksit Bharat.”
The election results revealed a comprehensive sweep for the BJP across key municipal corporations, with victories in Ambala, Faridabad, Gurugram, Hisar, Karnal, Rohtak, Sonipat, and Panipat. As per available trends, the party’s nominee was also leading comfortably in Yamunanagar.

Significant margins and council wins
During a session in the Assembly, Haryana Minister Vipul Goel highlighted the party’s success, stating, “Our mayor candidates have won with a big majority in nine municipal corporations.”
He further pointed out that the BJP’s candidate in Faridabad achieved the highest vote margins in the elections. “More than 90% of our councillors have won in the polls,” he added.
Expressing gratitude to voters, CM Saini also acknowledged the role of the State Election Commission in ensuring a smooth electoral process. He stated that the people have entrusted urban bodies with a crucial responsibility in driving sustained development.

Focus on urban development and governance
Addressing reporters outside the Assembly complex, Saini reiterated his vision for urban bodies playing a pivotal role in nation-building. “I hope that the newly elected urban bodies will accelerate development works, living up to the aspirations and expectations of the people,” he said.
Congratulating party workers, he remarked, “I extend my congratulations to every worker of the BJP whose hard work, along with the blessings of the people of the state, has ensured that the triple engine government has been formed.”
Saini reaffirmed that urban local bodies would be instrumental in achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047. “Under Modi’s leadership, Haryana and India will become ‘Viksit’,” he stated.

Faridabad’s record-breaking margin
With BJP’s Faridabad mayoral candidate securing victory by over three lakh votes, Saini extended special gratitude to the city’s electorate. “I especially thank the people of Faridabad for breaking the winning margin record in the country for the mayor’s post,” he said.
When asked about celebrations, he noted that senior BJP leader Gian Chand Gupta and workers from Panchkula had brought sweets to mark the occasion. He added that the BJP treats every election with utmost seriousness, whether at the local, state, or national level.
BJP’s commitments and future plans
Saini also took a jibe at the Congress party, saying, “The people has yet again rejected the Congress and shown them the door. Congress had already surrendered.”
On the party’s promise under the “Lado Lakshmi Yojana’, which guarantees financial assistance of ₹2,100 to women, he reassured voters, saying, “It is our guarantee, it is Narendra Modi ji’s and the BJP’s guarantee, and we will fulfill our guarantee.”
