Former Mumbai Indians coach Shane Bond has warned that Jasprit Bumrah could end up aggravating his back injury if he plays more than two Tests in a row in the upcoming five-match tour of England.
Bumrah has been sidelined ever since dropping out of the Sydney Test match in Australia last month. Earlier suspected to be a spasm, it turned out to be a stress injury keeping him out of India’s victorious run in the Champions Trophy too.

Bumrah had bowled over 150 overs in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Down Under, and Bond understands that the team cannot afford to inflict such pressure on the speedster moving forward.
