Here’s a look at some of the cars and bikes that are expected to be launched in March 2025.
Volvo XC90
Volvo is gearing up for the launch of the updated version of the XC90 SUV in India on March 4, 2025. The XC90 SUV made its debut globally in September last year and is now set to make its debut in the Indian market. The upcoming vehicle will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology, with the option of a plug-in hybrid. The mild-hybrid engine produces 247 hp and 360 Nm of torque and is paired with an 8-speed automated transmission. Meanwhile, the plug-in hybrid unit produces 450 hp and 709 Nm of torque.
Volkswagen Tera Compact SUV
Volkswagen will launch a new sub-4 meter SUV – the TERA globally on March 2. The Volkswagen Tera SUV is expected to be introduced in India in 2026. The SUB features a minimalist front grille, sleek LED headlights and a robust front bumper. The upcoming vehicle is said to share the body panels and underpinning with the Skoda Kylaq.
Volvo ES90
In addition to XC90, Volvo has also announced the global debut of the new all-electric ES90 sedan on March 5. The ES90 will be the second car in the lineup after the EX90 based on the EV-specific SPA2 platform, which was introduced in 2022. The ES90 also has an NVIDIA Drive AGX Orin, which can handle up to 508 trillion operations per second and is focused on increasing the computing capability of the vehicle.
BYD Sealion 7
BYD launched the Sealion 7 in India with prices starting from ₹48.90 lakh. The deliveries for the all-new vehicle will begin from March 7, 2025. The vehicle is available in two broad variants: Premium and Performance. The Performance variant comes with 20-inch units while the Premium trim has 19-inch alloy wheels. The Sealion 7 features a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system, a 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen, a 10.25-inch driver’s display and a heads-up display.
Ducati Panigale V4
Ducati India is planning to launch the highly anticipated 2025 Panigale V4 on March 5. The latest iteration of the iconic superbike premiered at the 2024 World Ducati Week. This superbike features a striking redesign influenced by the Ducati 916 and the Desmosedici GP. It features cutting-edge features like newly integrated LED headlights and aerodynamic winglets.
Hero Xpulse 210
Hero launched the Xpulse 210 at the Auto Expo 2025 of Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 with a starting price of ₹175,800 (ex-showroom). It is available in two choices – base and top trim. The deliveries of the bikes are expected to start in March. It is powered by a 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
