The historical epic raked in an impressive Rs 18 crore on its 12th day, surpassing the second Tuesday earnings of some of Bollywood’s biggest hits, including Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 (Rs 11.75 crore), Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (Rs 12.9 crore), and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 (Rs 12.1 crore). The only film ahead of Chhaava in recent times remains Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 – The Rule, which collected Rs 18.5 crore in Hindi and Rs 23.35 crore overall.
With this feat, Chhaava has now officially surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, making it the second biggest second Tuesday in Hindi cinema.
